Scammed.......

I ordered 20oz silver, paid in full... yet, no delivery. it's been 4 months. nothing! no more answering of their phones, no more answering emails. NOTHING. game over... I got scammed. no refund. nothing! seriously, this is the biggest joke. someone should honestly be going to jail for this... absolutely Ludacris that their website is still up. it's some sick joke! I don't recommend that anyone orders from this company, let alone go on their website or sign up. this company is literally a joke and someone needs to answer for this dishonesty and the amount of emotional distress that they have caused.

Consumer's Original Complaint : I placed an order 2/12/14 via the POW website. After 6 months, have tried numerous emails and phone calls to customer service about delivery. Nothing! On 2/8/14, I joined POW for a fee of $279.00 (invoice# 229761) On 2/12/14, I purchased $106,552.48 worth of 1oz Gold Eagle and Silver Eagle coins via the company website(invoice#230804). The company guarantees a 4 month delivery of product. On 2/10/14 I received a "confirmation shipping email for order" but it had no tracking info just that my order was paid for and to put me at ease it was being processed. On 6/9/14, I attempted to contact customer service via phone. You get no one and cannot leave a message-all automated messages. So I emailed customer service on 6/9/14 request #2545 for someone to contact me as to the status of my order delivery. As of today, 9/1/14 my email request to customer service has not even been assigned to an agent which I marked "urgent." The individual who signed me up has tried for the past 2 months to contact Doyle Schuler, and was promised I would receive separate deliveries of all product in 2 weeks(8/15/14). After 3 weeks, contact again initiated 8/29/14 with no answer and full voice mail. Consumer's Desired Resolution: I want a full refund for $106,831.48 immediately OR delivery of product immediately with tracking information. Got cheated by Preservation of wealth

We wired the money(10,000$) to Presevation of wealth on nov 2013. We haven't got the gold yet - 06/05/2014. They don't answer emails or take the phone calls. Don't know what to do. Even if they could give us the money back I would be happy. but no response from them - no gold and no money, no response. Please read the reviews and do not try to buy from them. we made a big mistake by trusting preservation-of-wealth, they are frauds. If you are planning to buy gold , please try buying one coin to see if they are trust worthy before you order in bulk. we are still trying to call them and email them - but no avail. noone picks up the phone or responds to our emails.

Did you ever get your money back?

Guest

You must have an upline! And they have an upline and so on and so on.

Surely there's someone who cares and can troubleshoot this for you?

I'm a POW rep, if you haven't gotten a resolution (the coins, your money back, etc) that's not good at all and should be rectified. It may not be a POW issue, it may be a rep issue - whoever is your team leader should really be fighting for your cause and looking out for you.

What does a rep or upline have to do with not receiving an order? This is nothing new with POW.

I personally have orders that are 6 months old, and I know people who have orders that are 12 to 13 months old. POW is done, I would suggest looking for another company to represent.

Preservation of Wealth ***

Purchased on 12/12/2011 five .10 gold eagle coins Thu POW preservation of Wealth cost $941.70 . its been over a month and i still have not received my Gold. Customer support refuses to answer emails in a way that solves my issue, like sending me my purchase. My last three purchases from Preservation of Wealth they charged me over and above the postage cost to send my precious metals. There website says they don't charge any handling fee's etc... but they just inflate the purchase price by over charging for the postage. For 5/10 of an OZ they charged me 17.10 to send USPS. actual cost less than $10.00 If you've bought precious metals from POW Preservation of Wealth i would start checking the actual postage rates and you will see they are over charging for postage. POW Preservation of Wealth markets itself as a Network marketing company. Here's a quote from the company website. "Very importantly, unlike most other companies, POW charges no surprise fees at the end of the check out. No gotcha-fees, no mark up on bullion, no handling fees, etc… Once you place your order, the metals and price is locked in. You are expected to pay at that price, we are expected to sell at that price and your order is delivered as soon as possible. " So much for integrity these guys are a rip-off I would not recommend them to anyone. Tom arrow i'm filing a complaint with My states Attorney Generals office and the Texas State Attorney Generals Office. I'm going to keep Posting complaints against them online till i receive a refund on my membership and my Purchase of Precious metals.

I just checked Westminster and price is 23.59 compared to 23.19 at POW for Silver Eagles at time of this post. Since your time of writing POW must have become more competitive.

I can say that they ship in 3months which is frustrating for a reseller but they did come up with a new option for 10 day quick shipment for .75 more on the eagles.

At cost lowest price is 2.25 over spot per coin. Can anyone tell me of other major distributors where I can order from in bulk at close to cost as possible with reasonable shipping times.

It sounds like a bunch of uninformed people making comments regarding things they know very little about. POW sales at cost to its members, the company is a volume dealer.

So if you are getting a membership as a buyer and you are not spending a minimum of $5k a year then you are not really a buyer that should get a membership just to buy because you are not buying on a large enough scale to even be considered a buyer. When other companies in the industry by from this company that says a lot. Numismatic coins happen to be the best product of any company in the MLM sector so again speak on what you are knowledgeable to speak on.

If your purchase took longer than you would like POW is announcing expedited shipping options which will cost more, but that should make you happy. Also they are rolling out the largest shopping cart with more options than any company in the industry.

The major precious metals dealers ship my products within a few days. Waiting a month is unacceptable except during seasons of extremely tight supply.

I have been in POW for a little over a year. I buy bullion, which has never been as late as some of these claims. I think maybe 6-8 weeks tops. I've already locked in the price when I purchase it, so I am really not worried about receiving it immediately. If you are speculating to buy it one week and sell it the next, that is a definite losing proposition. Precious metals is a long term investment at best and there is always the possibility of losing your *** My last big buy was at $32 and now we are at $22. Such is life, I'm not whining about it and no forced me to buy it.

I also market the numismatics side of the business. Saying only POW makes money is simply not true. Sure they make money or they wouldn't stay in business, but I am also making money. I don't have a problem with any company making money.

Should they just give it away for free?

Would you guys be happy then?

Precious metals are not a FREE ticket to quick cash. Never have been and POW doesn't promise it is. If an independent rep is promising you that, then they are just a bad rep.

As far as the quality? I have never received any bad silver bars. I did receive a numismatic coin that looked a little tarnished under a magnifying loupe. I sent an email to support, they gave me authorization to return it and they replaced it immediately.

Every company in every niche has issues. We have to take some responsibility for our own actions sometimes. I wanted to post this because I saw a lot of these posts were older and maybe POW was having some issues that have since been resolved, I don't know.

This is just my opinion, for what it's worth.

Guest

POW has a lot of members. Many of them are simply there for the buying of gold and silver.

So, there are times that you may place an order and it can take a while to get to you. That only makes sense. Also, you shouldn't think of normal weight value when it comes to postage. They probably insure your order.

Which is something they honestly shouldn't pay for because it's YOUR gold. They have the right to charge you for that. Would you rather a little extra postage or your gold/money get lost in the mail and not be insured? Think logically.

Do you plan on buying this gold to resale it immediately?

If not, then who cares if it takes a little time to get to you when you get it for the cheapest prices out there...

Also, I'm not affiliated in any way with POW. I just know people in it and I'm definitely a supporter of the idea behind the company.

POW is all about selling numismatics where no one makes money except POW. Anyone who has dealt with numismatics will tell you that they lost money because even when the price goes up for gold and silver that doesn't mean those expensive coins that you overpaid for that you will make money.

Also they use a lot of false statements like you would pay a lot more at other places with is a lie. Check other companies on line and you will see that you won't pay that much more and you will receive the metals right away instead of waiting up to months from POW. Also they have the weakest selection of any metal seller and the poorest quality of any metal seller and no other metal seller will ask you for any kind of fee to join. Save yourself a lot of headaches and pass on POW because there are a lot of reputable companies out there, take this from some one who has been in precious metals for 40 yrs.

The old expression if it sounds too good comes into play at POW.

POW should stand for pissed off waiting. I've been waiting 12 weeks and counting for my silver.

I keep on getting B.S. how there's no silver but I've been buying from Westminster Mint and getting the silver right away. I brought last year 350 1oz. bars and they were tarnished and dirty.

The Westminster mint bars were in BU and sealed in plastic with a great selection and the rounds were also in BU and were only 6 cents more than POW. The puny selection and bottom rung quality of POW is a waste of $250 enrollment fee. I will never deal with POW again and feel like I got robbed out of the $250 fee. Bullion in BU is always worth more and they just send you tarnished mish-mosh *** and you have to wait forever.

I have been lied to and they never get back to their e-mails. I ready to have my lawyer take action next week because all they say is we were expecting a truck today. They only had 2 kinds of 100 oz. bars and now they tell me I can't get the JMC bar that I ordered on my credit card and had sold and now i'm paying the interest and the guy waited 2 months and now that i'm not getting the JMC bar he pulled out and now i'm screwed.

Save yourself a knot in your stomach and try Westminster Mint which has 10X the selection in BU condition and get what you want very fast delivery. POW is only good for the eagles if you are going to buy a lot otherwise they suck.

Hi Big-Dave! I just joined POW and did so because of the great prices on bullion.

I too was impressed with Justin's responses and everything I have seen from the company so far has shown integrity. I also like the business model and the value I can bring to the marketplace. Precious metals can be a fluctuating market and people need to make decisions wisely, but the best recommendation I can make is learn about the history of money and currency because it repeats itself! As for "downsides" to the opportunity, I do not see any if you are committed to learning new skills, working at a building a network, and helping people.

I joined because a friend of mine has been with the company for some time and highly recommended it. I wish all of you much success!

I have been considering membership in this program, because I think purchasing something that actually has a track record of increasing in value over time makes a lot of sense. It never dawned on me that the company might not send the purchased gold or silver, because.

. .OK, why wouldn't they? I mean, network marketing companies base their reputation and their entire business on (1) associates/members making repeat purchases, and (2) associates/members promoting the company to others. Obviously, they can't guarantee gold and silver prices over the next decade.

But look at the prices historically and then make your own determination. And it says A LOT when company representative actually posts a rational, reasonable response to those naysayers who would try to discredit the company. However, as a "realist" I'm also trying to figure out what the possible downsides to this opportunity might be.

Anyone? Thanks!
